Seth Blair and Zack MacPhee proved to the Hawaii Rainbows why they are deserving of their All-American titles Saturday night in a 12-1 Arizona State victory over Hawaii.

The Sun Devils were the designated away team due to NCAA rules but the switch of dugouts did not phase the Devils in their second regional game.

The Devils got on top early by putting four runs up in the first inning and never looked back.  Drew Maggi reached on an error by the shortstop to start the game then Zack MacPhee recorded the first of his four hits on the night.  Kole Calhoun would bring Maggi in on a ground ball to second and the big blast of the inning came from Johnny Ruettiger with a 2 RBI triple to right center.  Marrero would hit Ruettiger in with a single to left.

Four runs would prove to be all Seth Blair needed as he threw seven innings giving up one run on three hits and struck out eight.  Blair earned his 12th win of the season to improve to 12-0 on the year.

The Sun Devil hitters would launch four home runs in the game, the first of which was hit by MacPhee who hit a two run blast to right center in the second.  Senior captain Raoul Torrez hit his first career post-season home run in the third to deep center, Kole Calhoun hit his second home run in as many games to right in the seventh, and freshman shortstop Deven Marrero hit a two run blast to left in the ninth.

The Sun Devils, who struggled on the base paths in the first game against Milwaukee stole four bases against Hawaii.  Riccio Torrez stole two bases which brought his regional total to five.

The Sun Devils will take on the winner of Sunday afternoon's San Diego and Hawaii match up.  The game will be at 6 p.m. at Packard Stadium.  Jake Borup is slated to throw for the Devils.
