PHOENIX – After playing just 10 games with the Iowa Energy
of the NBA’s Development League, the Phoenix Suns recalled rookie Taylor
Griffin, Suns General Manager and President of Basketball Operations, Steve
Kerr, announced forty-eight games into the season.
At 6-7, 238-pounds, Griffin averaged 8.8 points, 5.8
rebounds, 24.1 minutes and helped the Energy to a 6-4 record during his second
stint with the team. Out of the University of Oklahoma, Taylor Griffin was the
48th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and has played a total of
two games in a Suns uniform so far this season.
The Suns play host to the Chicago Bulls on Friday, January
22, 2010 at 8:30pm.
